The Passing of a Great.......

I just found out tonight that the great actress Shelley Winters passed away on January 14th, 2006.
She was an Academy Award winning actress for 1959's The Diary of Anne Frank and 1965's A Patch of Blue. Of course there was her role in The Poseidon Adventure that was joked about by many comedians, because she so died after heroically swimming through the upside down ship. More recently she had played Roseanne's grandmother on Roseanne. She was hysterical in that role.
If you ever want a good laugh check out her autobiographies. She dishes the dirt on everything and everyone.

I will miss her.

I read that like 4 days after her funeral, one of her ex husbands died. :(
