A Day In The Life.......

disneydream06A little excitement in the neighborhood.
About 45 minutes ago I went upstairs to take Maggie out for one last time for the day, and a big fire truck was just coming around the corner with it's lights flashing. Okay...
Then a couple of minutes later another vehicle came around the corners with it's lights flashing. I thought it was another fire truck, but it ended up being a deputy's truck. They stopped in the middle of the street blocking any traffic that might come. They sat there for a minute and then drove up the street a few houses and then stopped in the middle of the street to block traffic there.
We can just see the lights from the fire truck over the little hill we live on.
At first I thought maybe I better not go out with Maggie, and then decided to heck with it and took her out. It kind of looked a little smokey down at the other end of the street, but because of the hill I couldn't really see anything, and I didn't think it was appropriate to walk up there. A neighbor from around the corner came by with their dog and asked if that was the place with the dumpster fire. I said I didn't know.
Seemed like a lot of fuss for a dumpster fire. :o
I went back upstairs a couple of minutes ago and the cop car was still sitting in the middle of the street.
I may have to take a stroll down the block in the morning and see if there is anything worth seeing. :o
