Apr. 15th, 2020 04:55 amGood Thoughts and Prayers Please.....
I just sent my dad to the ER in an ambulance.
I was in the basement watching tv and nodding off and on, and I barely heard my name called. I went upstairs and he said he was having trouble breathing, so I got on the phone right away and called for an ambulance. I wasn't going to mess around with everything that's going on.
The county deputy showed up first and came in and assessed as much as she could not being a medical person.
Then a few minutes later the ambulance came. They came in and hooked him up to the AED enough to check his BP and O2 saturation. His BP was quite high, which he does have high BP to begin with, but not surprising with what was going on that it was extra high. His O2 saturation was actually pretty good. I wanna say he said it was 97%.
They eventually loaded him up on a stretcher put some oxygen on him just as a supplement, and put him in the ambulance.
Of course no visitors are allowed at the hospital, so now I sit and wait to hear from them.

Date: 2020-04-15 11:03 am (UTC)I literally just got off the phone with a doctor from the ER.
He said dad is looking okay. They are going to do some blood work to check on possible PR, blood clot to the lungs, and of course were going to swab him for Corona, but he hoped that dad would be okay to come home later this morning.
He said he thought dad looked really good for his age compared to some younger people they see. So that's always good to hear. :)
Fingers Crossed.....
