A Little Good News.....

disneydream06I don't think I have posted about this, but I have mentioned it to a couple of people...
I was invited to a wedding this Saturday. It's for the director of our local community theater and his partner of 40 years.
The wedding is going to be a theme wedding. The couple is very into Irish/Scottish things. She is the optimy of Irish Lass.
So I found myself and kilt and shirt to go with it to wear.
No big deal right?
Well, it's an outdoor wedding, in October, in Minnesota. The forecast is for a high of 40F/4C with rain/snow mixed, and winds of about 20 mph.
I have been racking my brain the last couple of days trying to figure out how I was going to stay half way warm.
Today came the good news...
They have moved the wedding to indoors. YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
On the down side of that good news, the facility is downtown Rochester, and parking SUCKS in downtown Rochester. Especially because this place is right next to one of the hospitals.
Oops, I kind of forgot to post this. lol...
Anyway, I found parking and had a nice time at the wedding.
I got to chat with some people I know through my theater work that I haven't seen in quite awhile. I also so several people I have done shows with, but either they didn't remember me, or just didn't acknowledge me. lol...
The ceremony was basically the wedding ceremony from the show Brigadoon, so it lasted all of 5+ minutes. LOL... I assume there was a more legal version done else where.
There were actually quite a few people at the wedding. They brought out more tables and chairs. And just that quickly, the crowd started to thin out. LOL........
I sit at home now feeling REALLY sleepy. Kind of get the feeling I will be crashing before too long.
Tomorrow I am heading up to St. Paul, Mn to see the rock group Heart in concert. :)
