Book Reading.......
Sep. 22nd, 2018 08:45 amI finished up book No. 25 last night.
I read "Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow" by Sophia Loren.
It's an autobiography by the legendary actress.
She has had quite the life. Grew up poor during WWII. She was a skinny little kid. Her father really didn't want anything to do with her and only really just strung along her mother to suit his needs. As a teenager she blossomed into a beauty. She started entering beauty contests and modeling, eventually making her way into movies. She met her true love, Carlo Ponti, several years older then she and married. Not a good thing in Catholic Italy. After a long struggle, they were finally able to marry. They had two children after a couple of miscarriages.
I remember seeing some of her movies, but now I would like to see more of them.
IMHO, Although she was a beautiful young woman, I always thought she got more beautiful the older she got. :)
