Book Reading.......
Aug. 17th, 2018 08:02 amI finished up reading Book No. 22 last night.
I read "Ozma of Oz" by L. Frank Baum. It is the third book in the Wizard of Oz series.
It was short easy read. :)
I was talking with one of the nurses last night about the books and I am glad I am not the only one that thinks they are a wee bit strange. I totally believe that L. Frank Baum was doing drugs when he wrote these stories. LOL........................
In this book Queen Ozma and Dorothy and the gang are out to rescue the royal family of the land of Ev. Everybody thought they were captives of the King of the Nomes, but actually the King of Ev had sold his family to the King of Nomes for a long life. Then he proceeded to commit suicide out of guilt. :o
