Book Reading.......
Aug. 4th, 2018 10:11 amI finished up book No. 20 last night at work while I watched a patient sleep. :p
I read "The Wee Free Men" by Terry Pratchett.
It's the next book in the Disc World series.
It's about a young girl who has decided she wants to be a witch. While out playing one day with her baby brother, she encounters a monster and then suddenly her little brother is missing.
She meets up with the Wee Free Men who are like a leprechaun version of a pixie. They are only inches high, they are super strong, super fast, they like to fight, they like to drink...
Tiffany, the young girl, becomes their leader when the current one dies, or is it comes back to life? Anyway, she gets the Wee Free Men to help her look for her brother who has been taken by the Queen of a dream world. Tiffany uses her witch like skills to defeat the Queen.
It was a very fun read, although the Wee Free Men talk in a very thick Irish like accent. lol...
