Maybe I am just extremely cynical about Herr Bush II and his government, but has anyone else noticed that things were starting to get real crappy for him and suddenly there is this huge terrorist alert for New York City?

Bush's poll numbers are in the tank, Karl Rove is in trouble, Delay is in trouble, and all of a sudden there is this specific terrorist alert.
Makes people stop thinking about him and getting scared again. Although it doesn't sound like to many people were panicked.
