My manager asked me into his office this morning for a chat. Ugh...

He got an email from our scheduler telling him that I had changed my vacation request from almost 4 weeks down to just a couple of days. So of course he wanted to know what was up with that.
I told him that I have been having a horrible week and that his discussion about my request was the straw that broke my camel's back.
He tried to convince me that every thing was okay and that I have the seniority and the PTO time and if I wanted the original time I had signed up for I could have it.
I was like, you told me that we could only have two weeks during prime time like the nurses and that only one could be off at a time.
He jumped on that by saying he never said that. He was there and said it and knows what he said.
EXCUSE ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I wasn't going to argue with him, I know what I heard come out of his mouth.
He tried to convince me that it was okay to have my request and I told him that I am going to stick with my new request. I am spiting myself, but I am just so pissed about everything right now I would rather not have the vacation time.
Then he wanted to know if there was something else going on because he has heard some comments that I have been really grumpy/grouchy lately.
So I unloaded some of the stuff that was pissing me off.
And in true nature not a damn thing will come from it. ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So he used up the last half hour of my shift and then I had to go out and finish my work.
As I was getting ready to leave his office he tried one more time to take my original vacation request.
Why so I could make you feel better? UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
All he managed to do was piss me off more.

Now on a side note...
This weekend I start working my new schedule. I am going to be working 12 hour shifts on my weekends. The good side of that is I only work every third weekend, and I will get one extra day off during the pay period. On the bad side of that, I have to work every Friday night, and every third week I have to work 5 nights in a row, M-F.
So this weekend I will probably fall way behind on my LJing. Sorry.........
