disneydream06I just finished reading my next book.
Book No. 10 is "Dolly on Dolly" edited by Randy L. Schmidt.
Mr. Schmidt took transcripts from interviews that Dolly Parton did, and made them into a book.
The interviews covered nearly her whole career. Being a big Dolly fan, I don't think I learned a whole lot of new information, but it was fun to hear it in own words, and as I read, my mind was reading in her distinctive voice. lol...
If there is one bad thing about the book, it's just that Dolly never really gets too open about herself. She has variations of the same answers for most questions over the years.
I want to thank my friend,halfmoon_mollie for putting me onto this book. :)
When I bought it on ebay, I saw other books like this about other artists. I might be tempted. One being Keith Richards from the Rolling Stones.
