Nov. 22nd, 2017 09:47 pmI went to the movies last night and saw a double header.
I saw the new Disney/Pixar "Coco" and the latest Disney/Marvel "Thor: Ragnarok".
"Coco" was GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's the story of a little boy who wants to be a musician, but his family forbids it due to it's history/relationship with musicians.
It takes place in Mexico around the Day of the Dead, and the little boy accidentally ends up in the land of the dead and must get back to the land of the living before he becomes one of the dead.
It's beautifully animated. The story is wonderfully told.
In true fashion I was crying at one point. :)
GO SEE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
"Thor: Ragnarok" was good.
Of the three Thor movies so far, I would rank it as the best.
Although I think it tries too hard to be funny like the Guardians of the Galaxy movies.
The eye candy was nice and you have to love Cate Blanchett as a villain. :)
