Finally got the first book of the year finished up. :)
I read "Thief of Time" by Terry Pratchett. The next in the Disc World series. This book had lots of great characters, but almost too many. Death, Death of Rats, Death's granddaughter Susan, Mrs. Ogg the witch, and add in a handful of others, and the story got a little crowded.
A young clock builder is hired to build the perfect clock. Unfortunately, this leads to the end of time.
And you have to love when people battle using chocolate. :)

I can't seem to get into my first book of the year. I've been on it a week. It's called "Bleeding in Black and White" by Colin Cotterill.

Perhaps this year you could also sort them out/month

From: [identity profile] chaquir.livejournal.com
you divide them by month but also make a yearly total.

Congrats on finishing your first book! It seems you are off to a good start this year :-)

I am reading a Hercule Poirot book called Closed Casket by Sophie Hannah. It is a spin off. I haven't finished it yet but Poirot is up to his usual antics ;-)

Really? They seem pretty average/normal here.
Do you have access to ebay? I have gotten some really good deals on books there. :)

I'm on a fixed budget now that I'm retired, nearly all my paperback books are either second hand from charity shops or gifts from family. On my Kindle, I ask for evouchers as gifts from family and I just buy books on offer, I rarely pay more than £3/$3.62. Most of the books on my list were cheap ebooks. My latest bargain was all the Dickens books for 99p/$1.19!
