Book Reading.......
Dec. 15th, 2016 04:50 amJust wrapped up book No. 53.
I read "Turbo Twenty-Three" by Janet Evanovich.
It's the newest entry in the Stephanie Plum series. Once again Stephanie is helping the super sexy Ranger with a case, security at an ice cream plant. Her and Lula find a dead body that had been turned into an ice cream bar and stuffed in the back of a semi delivering ice cream. Then the loading doc foreman is frozen to death in the factory freezer. Stephanie goes under cover as the clown mascot of the company to deliver ice cream. After stopping at deli for something to eat, the ice cream truck gets blown up.
And to make this book great for me, Stephanie and Ranger fly down to Disney World to find the factory owner. After finding him, they spend some time at the park, and then she throws caution to the wind and has a wild night at the hotel with Ranger. So much for her kind of engagement to be engaged to hottie police detective Morelli. :o :o :o

Date: 2016-12-15 12:37 pm (UTC)They talked about the wife being in Disney World, but then all of sudden they were heading down there, so it was a fun surprise. :)
My goal was 50, so shockingly I passed that. :o
If I am really lucky, I might squeeze one more in. :o
