No politician is going to agree to getting rid of a system that got them elected! We have a similar problem over here.

Stupidly the only person this system is used to elect is the President. Everyone else are all elected using the popular vote system.

It was the same when we had the last general election I believe, Labour had the most votes but the fewest seats. It's not right is it?
