Just finished up No.37.
I read "9 to 5" by Thom Racina. It's a novel based on the screen play from the movie "9 to 5".
It was another book shared by my friend [livejournal.com profile] hoobird. Thanks...
Just a fast fun book to read. There were a few little minor things different from the script. As I read it was like I was hearing all the actors' voices in my head. lol...

I loved that movie 9 to 5, hee hee!! If I read that, I would just think of the movie too ;-)

I am reading Outlander, I just hope it doesn't get too scary. This is my second try, hmmm.

They made it into a popular British-American TV series, about time travel, but I have never seen any of those. The book is 841 pages. I like long books. But I stopped reading it before after page 340. I have a feeling it got too scary.

You stopped reading it? EEP...
I have only done that once, and I keep telling myself to go back and read the bloody book. It's Dicken's Tale of Two Cities. :p

I am a wuss though so it is hard to judge. I should say, overly scary!
She gets transported back in time and ends up in some awful situations :-/
I kept thinking well maybe she will come forward in time again where things are calmer. But from what Wiki says about the book, she doesn't :-(

I'm currently reading "Agatha Christie Closed Casket" by Sophie Hannah. Hannah has been licensed to write new works using Christie's beloved characters, in this case, Hercule Poirot!

licensed by whom??

Agatha is fuming in the other world
she deliberately "killed him off" so that he would not be used
at least that is my understanding

but Agatha is now long gone and there is money to be made i suppose

Not sure I could read that.
I still haven't decided if I want to read the 4 installment of the Girl With the Dragon Tattoo series because it wasn't fully written by the original author. :o

That was an amazing cast. :)
I was worried when I got through the hospital scene and there were only 50 pages left, but it pretty much runs the way the movie did.
