IF they had given me something and my liver would've objected, I could've died, so there was real danger

I understand in some cases, but when they discontinue a sleeping pill because the patient was too tired one day, did they ever consider, Maybe the patient really needs some sleep.
Better to have them sleepy one day then to have them super confused because of lack of sleep. Ugh...
