I love hardwood floors! They are very durable, easy to keep clean (compared to wall to wall carpeting), they are warm and attractive, and a good value for the $$. We have been installing Oak floors in the house we are restoring.

Love it!

I love hardwood flooring. Not only does it look good, but it keeps the dust/pollen down to a minimum because it's easy to clean without stirring it up.

You might have seen a post I made a few years ago where my dad and I put hardwood in the den in 2013 (one year before he passed away), and in the foyer a few years before that. (pic of the Den)

I told dad it's weird, but the room looked brighter with the wood compared to the carpet. You wouldn't necessarily think so because the carpet was cream colored. :p
Maybe it's just shinier. lol...
