I just finished up book No. 14.
It was The Accidental Feminist: How Elizabeth Taylor Raised Our Consciousness and We Were Too Distracted by Her Beauty to Notice by M. G. Lord.
It's kind of a combination biography/feminist study.
The author takes us through Elizabeth Taylor's career concentrating on several roles she played that had strong feminist leanings. At one point she admits that Elizabeth Taylor probably never took a role for that reason, but whether she saw it or not, the characters had feminist qualities.
I am a HUGE Elizabeth Taylor fan, so it is always enjoyable to read bios of her life and career.
Occasionally the author's study of the feminist side of things got a little long winded and dry, but it was still interesting non the less.

That book sounds good. I never thought of E. Taylor being a feminist, even though I really like her. But she did make a good amount of money and survive in a mostly white man's world. I kind of want to read it, thanks :-)

Yeah, I don't think she consciously tried to be one, but she sure was. I think of her more of a survivor, in life, business, health. :)
I got it on my Nook for just a couple of bucks. :)
