I had some coworkers condemning welfare, and I asked them what about Corporate Welfare. Companies like GE that don't pay taxes. One guy actually said that was okay because they create jobs. SERIOUSLY??? :o
So somebody that is getting a few thousand from the government is evil, but a corporation that doesn't pay in millions of tax dollars is perfectly fine? UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's neoliberalism worldwide which teaches this mindset "lassez-faire - who has nothing does not put enough effort into his issues, so he does not deserve to eat".
You can say it's economy's elite ideology of "we're the best, we're the chosen ones, that for we are allowed to do whatever we want" - and they cover it as "measures" to make everything and nothing "market-compliant", profitable. You know, that's what all this belief in "privatization" that went viral for decades originates from in modern times.
All thought up by a bunch of people which think they're the best and which conspire against the rest of the world.
