Book No. 10 is put away.
I read Dean and Me (A Love Story) by Jerry Lewis and James Kaplan.
It is the autobiographical story of how Jerry Lewis met, partnered up with, and broke up with Dean Martin.
They met by chance on a New York City street, worked together for 10 years, and had a very bitter break up. Close to two decades later, they were brought back together again by Frank Sinatra live on the air while Jerry was hosting the MDA telethon in 1976.

Book List 2016:
1. Schooled in Revenge by Jesse Lasky
2. A Murder is Announced by Agatha Christie
3. Kicking and Dreaming by Ann & Nancy Wilson with Charles R. Cross
4. The Jungle Book by Rudyard Kipling
5. A Kingdom Keepers Adventure: The Syndrome:Finders Keepers Losers Sleepers by Ridley Pearson
6. The Carpet People by Terry Pratchett
7. The Wind in the Willows by Kenneth Grahame
8. Before Tomorrowland by Jeff Jensen/Jonathan Case/Brad Bird/Damon Lindelof
9. Finger Lickin' Fifteen by Janet Evanovich
10. Dean and Me(A Love Story) by Jerry Lewis and James Kaplan

Dean Martin is my favourite crooner, I think he had a better voice than Frank. He was a good actor too. He died a lonely old man, so sad.

So much better then Frank or Bing.
It sounds like he was pretty crushed after his one son was killed, but he did manage to get back to performing for a little while after that.

I'm not sure if I've seen any of theirs, but I love those old Hollywood movies in general (as long as there's not too much singing going on - LOL). :)

Dean usually sings 2-3 songs per movie.

I was surprised I had the time last night at work to read. I was on Poop patrol all night. :o
It also helps to ignore the computer and work on the book for a change. LOL.........

I sometimes do that - not poop patrol - but tear myself away from the laptop to read.

I enjoyed most of it. I have seen, I think, three parts of the book that were made into animated movies/shows, and that was fun reading those sections.
The one section where Ratty went out on a journey to discover the world seemed really out of place with the rest of the book.
