Book Reading.......
Feb. 5th, 2016 10:22 amFinished up Book No. 6 last evening.
I read, The Carpet People by Terry Pratchett.
Mr. Pratchett originally wrote this book when he was 17 years old. After his other books started to get popular people saw this title listed and started asking for it. Mr. Pratchett wasn't happy with how it sounded, and so in his 40s he rewrote some of the book and it was released. :)
It's about the people and creatures that live in the carpet. :p
It feels very much like his Disc World series of books. :)
Book List 2016:
1. Schooled in Revenge by Jesse Lasky
2. A Murder is Announced by Agatha Christie
3. Kicking and Dreaming by Ann & Nancy Wilson with Charles R. Cross
4. The Jungle Book by Rudyard Kipling
5. A Kingdom Keepers Adventure: The Syndrome:Finders Keepers Losers Sleepers by Ridley Pearson
6. The Carpet People by Terry Pratchett

Date: 2016-02-07 01:05 am (UTC)As for his Discworld series, you can read them out of order without any real problems. Although occasionally there is chronological things. If you want one book to give you a good taste of his works, I would suggest "Mort". It introduces the character Death. It is REALLY fun.
