The problem with the Melissa Harris Perry story is that we don't know what he said that she didn't hear

We don't know if he was going to attack her.
She reacted from what had happened to her in the past.

Yes, he wasn't quite "usual".
And, yes, she did well to move away.
But it could have been just a verbal tirade.
It could have been harmless but irritating.
The headline is sensationalist and misleading.
It is not good journalism
