In this political season, this song really expresses a lot about how I feel......

It seems like it's always political season!

Wouldn't it be lovely if the politicians actually had the best interests in the people at heart, rather than themselves..?

Our presidential election isn't until Nov, but they have been running since last year. UGH.....
You occasionally will see a politician that wants to help, but I really don't think any of them are completely "good" after getting elected. :(
Most just automatically start planning for their next election. UGH...

Yours seem to go on forever - and then I've never understood the President Elect thing.

I think many start off with the right ideals, but power and the institution of government soon corrupts them. I don't think those whom buy their way into government are in this group, though...

Oh no, those that buy their seats are in it mostly for the prestige in my opinion. :o

For me it was just another disgraceful time period in our country. :o

Here we go.

I'm age-ist. I have much difficulty with individuals over the retirement age, making decisions for the whole. I also have much issue with the Baby boomers having control over the whole. I also am over the philosophy that the children will be affected. That lingo is tired and over used and frankly bullshit. If they Baby boomer generation wants to leave a legacy of control, wars, and using up the resources, than be it.

I"m ALSO a HUGE HUGE HUGE fan of term limits. Holding office shouldn't be a career it should be a privilege that is enforced by term limits. #soapbox

The more I think or is it age, the more I am liking term limits.
How would you set up the limits?

Oh I didn't even think down to the city level. Now that is a GOOD idea. :) Break up the strangle hold some of these towns/cities are under.

Hey, where are you flying out of here?
From the Cities I hope?

It really expressed how I felt about the Bush II administration and the countries mentality that went with it.

The countries mentality - what is going on now though with all the angry anti-government Trump supporters. I am trying not to get upset over it, yikes! :-o

Me too!
Maybe Rand Paul, but even him, ick ick!
At least he sounds like he thinks things thru a bit more.
Rubio, ick ick also!

Rubio came in 3rd, and apparently is making a "victory" speech. UGH.......
Nope, Rand is too crazy for me. :o

Huckabee and OMalley have suspended their campaigns.

I just saw that on Twitter about Rubio, they are making fun of him, hee hee. And another tweet said Megan Kelly beat D. Trump, ahhh haa.

Yes Rand Paul pretty crazy too, those Republicans, ugh!

It seems Hilary is just barely beating Sanders, I don't know if that one is final.

Kind of sounds like Hillary and Bernie will pretty much end in a tie.

From: [identity profile] kaishin108.livejournal.com
Even though she 'won' it really is a tie being that close. I am glad she is ahead though.
