I'm not familiar with this story, I had to google it. I've never heard of affluenza either! Sounds like a cop out to me!

First her son gets away with murder/manslaughter, and now she's basically getting away with helping him run away. ARGH...

do we even want either of them?
why should the government support them in prison?
my money can be put to better use
send both of them off to fend for themselves somewhere else

I think her son deserves to be rotting in prison for killing those 4 people. :o
And the judge that let him go deserves to be in the next cell.
ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is awful, they should have raised her bail!

They should never have offered bail. ARGH.......

kid is 18 now. even with a case of affluenza, that's an ADULT. even if she did bankroll the flee to mexico, she isn't guilty of much.

now the kid? fleeing probabtion, fleeing out of COUNTRY, drinking whilst underage and on probation...

there's a lot of stupid there. although from what i have heard, the stupid apple has not fallen far from the idiot tree.

He needs to be rotting in prison and the judge in the cell next door to him. :o
