My first night out there was also the first Democrat Debate at the Wynn Resort

I think this is inside The Palazzo Resort, sister resort to The Venetian

The soon to be tore down Riviera Resort. One of the old classic resorts.

If you want cheesy souveniers, this is your place.

The SLS Resort is the old Sahara Resort. Another old classic that closed, but is living on as a new place.

Love the canals; not something I expected to see, there!

I'd love to visit one day; I have friends in England who've been multiple times, and they say it's amazing - just because it's so different to what we have, here. :-)

I don't go for the gambling. I think I spent about $3 on slot machines when I was out there. lol...
I would love to have a ton of money and just start going to one show after another. :) I have only seen two of the Crique du Soliel shows out there. :o

Very colourful! THe Palazzo Resort is quite spectacular. And the Venetian....it must be huge. You certainly do things on a large scale in the USA!

I used to go to LV frequently as part of a role in a convention planning team in my old job.

So, it's been a while. Does the volcano still 'blow' in front of the Mirage?
Does the Pirate Show still happen in front of Treasure Island? It was always hard to get a good vantage point in the crowds to see it.

The volcano still blows, although I missed it this time. Actually I think I have only seen it blow once. lol...

Apparently the pirate show is dead in the water. :o
They built a CVS on the corner where the guys' pirate ship would come out from. Now both ships just sit in the little lagoon area and look pretty. Blah...
