but isn't it "strange" that these people want government out of their lives until they want government to protect their prejudice?

in the non profit world we had a saying "the Golden Rule is - he who has the gold rules" - if you want the money your funder is offering you play by his rules
don't like the rules - don't take the money - freedom to be as you want to be
