first a nit to pick

in which he was tied up and beaten with his girlfriend,
ooooo Kinky - i hope he enjoyed every minute of it but how did they manage to beat him USING his girl friend

as to guns - sigh
but the Aussi guy is funny

and speaking of muskets (as he was)
in the revolution ( the american one) you couldn't join up if you didn't have front teeth
and why?
because the powder charge came wrapped in paper which you had to open with your teeth

you put a musket ball in - opened the powder and put it in - rammed it down with the thing that came with the gun - made sure you had a flint in place - the trigger caused the metal to hit the flint that made a spark that lit the powder that fired the ball, that had no sure accuracy on hitting the target

more men died of disease than musket balls
