Hey this goes out to all my school aged friends.

Does your middle and/or high school have a policy that says if you have a failing grade you are not allowed to participate in extra curricular activities?

And for those of you that have been out of school for awhile now, but you know what your school district policy is I would like to hear from you too.

Thanks everybody...

our rule is that if your GPA is below a 2.0, you can`t do sports.

Our school board just voted, for at least the middle school level, to allow kids with a failing grade to continue to play in extra curricular activities. I wrote a letter to the editor to our local paper thanking them for comfirming my long held thoughts that sports are more important in American schools that academics are.
Not that I condemn anyone in sports, I just think they take to much time and money from what kids are in school for.
Now I will get down off my soapbox. lol... :p
