Sorta like The Constitution - Administrations/Courts have been "cherry-picking" which parts they want to follow/enforce for a loooooong time. Re-interpreting & changing meanings of words in order to fit the wants of those In Power - we should be used to it by now.

After Lawrence vs Texas, it took Matthew Limon two years to be released from Jail. Kansas supreme court told the lessor court to re-review the case, they denied it, supreme court had to take it and over rule them.

State vs. Limon is the case - determined that Romeo and Juliet laws couldn't only apply in opposite sex cases.
