The turkey was yummy. :)

It was almost too big for the crock pot though. I had to flip it over and squish it down a wee bit. lol...
The recipe called for a mixture of orange juice, whole cranberry sauce, and Lipton onion soup mix. I can't say I really tasted a lot of flavor from that except maybe the onion. :p But the turkey did seem to be pretty moist. Usually white meat tends to be on the dry side, but this was pretty moist. :)
So we had turkey, Stove Top stuffing, baked beans, and broccoli. I had planned to make some deviled eggs, but I forgot to boil the eggs last night. lol...
Plenty of leftover turkey. Some went into the freezer and some is in the fridge for a couple of suppers later in the week.
If I wasn't on my diet, I would be upstairs making a cold turkey sandwich or two with lots of Miracle Whip. LOL........

I had hoped to see the new Helen Mirren/Ryan Reynolds movie, Woman in Gold, this weekend, but it hasn't come to Rochester yet. :(

When I am dieting I try to have just breakfasty types foods for breakfast. Part of my "normal" problem I would come home from work in the morning and eat a big full meal go to bed and then get up and eat another big full meal for supper. :o
Right now I don't think it's playing in Minnesota. At least not in Rochester or up at the Mall of America theaters. :(

you can cook boneless chicken in the crock pot with a mix of cranberry sauce and the onion soup mix. chicken in first, then you mix the other two together and pour/spoon over it.

it ends up sort of tasting like BBQ sauce, which i can't eat any more because of tomatoes. :/ i miss tomatoes!
