One wonders why they do accept it at all to have a minimum wage in America? There's nothing more politically left than this if you do something with it.

Started in 1912 in Massachusetts to protect women and girls in factories. It spread to other states but the Supreme Court invalidated them.
It was tried nationally in 1933 at 25 cents an hour but the Supreme Court canceled it
It was tried again in 1938 again at 25 cents and this time it was sustained.

My 15 yo earns more than that and her pay will go up when she's 16 and then again when she's 17 and she will be on full adult wages at 18 .. that's ridiculous - how can anyone support a family on $7.25?
