and shria law says non muslims may be killed
religious freedom in another style

there is one way to reverse the situation
boycott supporters of such laws
(anyone remember Caesar Chavez and the grapes?)

If women (and men) refuse to go to Hobby Lobby - if a few protest demonstrations were held with good media coverage on a regular basis

If in this age STRONG social network protest campaign were waged against anyone wanting to ban LGBT customers

Well, the Supreme Court said money was speech - let your money speak for you and let them hear the protest

I can't read this nonsense. Most of these people that are trying to pass this discrimination laws are closeted homosexuals anyway.....

I was trying to add to my comment but couldn't so I'll try now - there is a much deeper reason these things are happening. Gay people have been shopping and going into businesses for how long, so why are politicians trying to "pass these laws" now? To divert our attention away from bigger and possibly more dangerous things that are being done behind out backs. As the LGBT community seems to be an easy target, they've decided to use them as such a diversion.

I think it's partly their desire or their followers desires to establish a religious/Christian country. ARGH...
I am a firm believer in the seperation of Church and State.

Because NOW they feel threatened.
When Christians and their "values" were obviously accepted by the majority then there was no need for "protection"

The irony is screaming for protection when they have denied protection to the very people they now want to be protected from.

Do they plan to put in their shop windows signs saying
"No Service to LGBT"
That actually would be a good move - make people realize the link to "No Jews" and Nazi Germany

We need people to rise up and say NO! Not Here
I think most Americans would.
These people want to play to their base and that is not the majority - even in Oklahoma - although there it might be close.
Texas is just weird!

We should have let Texas leave years ago when they wanted to. UGH......
I always have to laugh when I hear them whining about being put upon, Dudes, I am pretty sure that Christians are still in the majority in this country. :o
And the whole "war on Christmas" simply because somebody says Happy Holidays instead of Merry Christmas. PLEASE...

Yes, NOW they feel threatened. you can also see this in other ways. when I was little the majority of fast food premiums/kids meal toys were unisex. now almost every month is divided to instill which toys girls are supposed to play with and which toys boys are supposed to play with. the gender issue is even worse than ever in toy aisles.  when I was little, the girl Legos were with legos, now they have to be relegated to the doll section instead. their fear is making everything worse.

How about introducing a law that allows humans to be discriminated just because they're humans?
