They have to be removed. Probably can be done when I go in Tuesday.

How will that big wound heal? Will they use a bandage to pull the sides together once it has stopped draining? Do they have you on antibiotics to prevent infection? It seems like it might be quite a while before the big wound closes over. :-/

I am not really sure what the plan is. Don't know if they think it will close up on it's own. Or if they will sew it shut after it has healed up further. I am on another round of antibiotics now. Gonna have to see if they have more answers on Tuesday when I go back in again.
