the clinics (at least the one i have seen as someone giving a ride to someone else...the person having a medical proceedure have to have a garunteed ride home) (i know i spelled the g-word wrong, spelling isn't working today) are being closed because they are not attached to a hospital-type facility, they're small stand-alone places.

for several reasons. first, assholes. (of the type in austin, running things) second, assholes. (of the type who necessitate an armed guard at the entrance to the compound, and at the exit) third, hospitals don't generally say out loud "yes, we offer abortion services" because OMG that's distasteful! howevever, so is the idea of women dying...but after all, those horrible sluts deserve to die for killing those precious little lives...oh wait, you need AFDC or medical help or other welfare assists? we cut those/won't accept obamacare assists. your kid is HERE, we don't care past that. (yes, that was sarcasm so thick i literally started coughing)

It was more meant in the direction "You try to grab every single stick to justify yourself, right?". Meaning "You wouldn't have changed anything if it was "only" for possibly saving someone's life, would you?" Then they would be like the old agenda "Everyone's responsible for his own health.".
