This is the restaurant/gift store/grocery store next to the hotel we stayed at. It's Al's Oasis. Famous for their 5 cent coffee. Dad would always order the catfish. Well, apparently they have new management in the restaurant that doesn't care for catfish, so it's no longer on the menu. :o


This is Maggie's traveling kennel. Towards the end it ended up being a waste of $50. Last three nights of the trip Maggie slept on my bed. lol.......


And this is Maggie. :)

And I didn't really adjust it much either when it came in the mail. :)
Maybe wrong of me, but I ended up leaving the harness on most of the time. Treating it like a collar that's always on. Didn't seem to bother Maggie. :)

when you were travelling? I think it's sensible so you can put the leash on at a moment's notice - probably not needed at home. I always leave it on Peaches when I take her leash off when she's running around the park or beac - it's just easier to clip the leash on and off you go.

Have taken the harness off since we have gotten home. Still have the collar on so not like we have to put the harness on. Although I am thinking about putting on in the mornings and leaving it on for dad to use during the day times. And then take off when I go to work at night.
Well, at least one person wants to see them so far. :)

Yes peaches always has her collar on with her id -just her harness when we're walking. That's not a bad idea for your day - it shouldn't bother her.

I hate the collar for the lead, Peaches pulls so hard sometimes (when she sees another dog she wants to say hello to ... or when she's almost at the beach) and she makes that noise like she's choking herself - it's much more comfortable for her I'm sure

Maggie does pull really hard with just the collar, but she never seems to have that choking sound going on.
It was interesting the reactions she got on vacation. From trying to ignore to getting in there and petting her. :)

That's the old road/bridge over the river. The new highway is in the foreground. Well, I don't know if new is the right word, it's been there for a long time now that I can remember. :)

Maggie is not a big fan of the travel kennel. I whimped out and let her sleep on my bed the last three nights of the trip. LOL.........
