Renee represents a heavily Republican district near me in NC. I'm afraid she may be there for a while, as the district was re-drawn in 2012 to make her and other Republicans even more undeafeatable.
Clay Aiken (yes, that Clay Aiken) will be running against her for her seat in Congress. His first campaign ads got a LOT of attention here (meaning surprisingly good...) but ultimately, I think it's an uphill battle.
A lot of folks in SE NC won't care what she says or has said unfortunately (a la Michelle Bachman in her district there....)

UGH... I think it should be illegal to redraw the maps. The only time that should happen is if there was a huge population growth in an area. :o
I always find it so amazingly bizarre when female politicians disrespect women. UGH........
