On Monday the Supreme Court of the USofA said it was okay for Hobby Lobby to discriminate against women's healthcare. BUT just a couple of forms. Right?

On Tuesday the Supreme Court of the USofA quietly said it was okay for religious organizations to ban coverage of all contraceptions.

WHERE THE HELL WAS THE NEWS COVERAGE OF THAT?????????????????????????

And now some groups are asking that this be expanded to give them permission to discriminate against the Gay community for "religious" reasons. Because if it's good enough for Hobby Lobby's fight against contraception it's good enough for the fight against the Gay community.

I sure hope nobody is going to claim they didn't see this one coming................

This country is sooooo F'ed Up. ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's what happens when you let republican presidents appoint supreme court judges - for life

just whose religious freedom is at stake here?
my religious beliefs say contraception is a duty and i must treat LGBT people as equals

a right wing theocracy ?
I don't think that is what they pledged their lives, their fortunes and their sacred honor for!

and this has made me decide to post on my site - thanks

They aren't even satisfied with "Christianity", these idiots are trying to take us all the way over to Puritanism.
Whatever happened to the simple rule of "Love Thy Neighbor"? UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One of the issues, as you brought up is that people in office/supreme court justices, hold the positions for such a length of time, that "new" blood needs to be introduced. I.E. Term limits on positions. Which, will eventually happen, as the baby boomers continue to age...

As much as it pains me: Hobby lobby's stance is somewhat valid, based on the company's beliefs/morals/ect, and not having to necessary support employes which they are providing health insurance for... is it correct? probably not. If the company wants to conduct his or her business this way, in regards to employees, then fine. Whatever.

if someone isn't o.k. with Hobby Lobby's policies, then go get your craft stuff elsewhere. nothing like a little boycot.

The trouble with HL is they are hypocrits when it comes to contraceptives. They don't want to pay for their employees to get them, but they have invested in the companies that make them for their retirement programs or something like that. :o

Things just get worse and worse!

Ever thought about moving to England? :-) (We have problems, but we're not quite as bad as this... yet!)
