Book Reading.....
Apr. 27th, 2014 09:42 amJust finished up book No. 14.
This is another case of not remembering to grab my books before heading for the basement on my last night off and not wanting to go upstairs during the night and disturbing the sleeping puppy.
So I picked up another Goosebumps book. I read Say Cheese and Die! by R. L. Stine.
A group of kids go exploring in the local "haunted" house. Greg finds a camera hidden in a secret hideaway.
There seems to be one little problem with this camera. It seems to predict the future does it cause the future to happen?
Greg takes a picture of the family's new car. When the picture developes it shows the car totalled. :o
A couple of days later, his dad has a car accident.
He takes a picture of his friend Bird in his little league uniform. The picture shows Bird laying on the ground, head tilted at an odd angle, eyes closed and looking very...
During the game Shari looks over and sees Bird laying on the ground looking like the picture. Turns out Bird was faking and having fun with his friend. A short time later after Bird gets on base, he is hit by a line drive and he is laying on the ground just like the picture. :o :o :o
Things kind of go from bad to worse. :o
Thankfully in the end all is okay. The kids get the camera put back in it's hiding place.
Or is all okay??? Two bullies have seen the kids hiding the camera and they steal it...........
