disneydream06Yippy, Our future Attorney General wants the USA to ask for a revesion to the Geneva Convention that would allow torture of detainees. So apparently we can be At War with terrorist, but they can't be Prisoners of War?
Well, Bush II's regime hasn't exactly played nice with his own people, I guess we shouldn't expect him to play legally with terrorist either.
I know a lot of people will condemn me for even considering the rights of accused terrorist, but think for a momment. Has one of these accused terrorists been tried and convicted yet? Not to my knowledge. In fact some have finally be set free because there was no evidence to try them.
Call me a terrorist sympathizer. Call me a bleeding heart liberal.
I prefer to think of myself as a Humanitarian.
Now I will climb down off my soap box and get back to my silly self.
