disneydream06I finished reading book No. 25 this morning.
I read Bazooka Joe and His Gang.
It was a fun quick read about the comics that came with the Bazooka bubble gum. It tells about the different artists that were involved with making the comics. It's told by 4 or 5 different people. Although that makes it kind of gumbled. It starts with the son of the main artist, who tells all about his dad's history in the business. Then later in the book another person talks about his father saying there really isn't a lot known about his artistic career. Excuse me, but did you read the other sections of this book? :o
The book includes copies of the first series of comics used with Bazooka bubble gum. It's really fun getting to read them. It also shows some of the free gifts that were available if you sent in your comics.
Great history. Brings back lots of memories. I chewed a lot of Bazooka bubble gum when I was a kid.
