I have always felt sorry for him. Get's the role, and then taken away when Connery takes it back. :o

On Her Majesty's Secret Service is one of the very best bond films, although it flopped big time when it was first released -- that's why he lost the role --- but his performance is more realistic than the others --- more like a real spy & then Diana Rigg is in it, too...
