Book Reading......
Finally finished my first book of the year. Which is not necessarily as good as that sounds because I actually started to read it in 2009. LOL......
It's called Schulz and Peanuts. It's a biography of Charles Schulz the creator of The Peanuts comic strip and all that came from them.
It wasn't the best read. Mr. Schulz and many many many issues to deal with in his life and most in a mental capacity. He had trouble showing any affection. He cheated on his first wife with one lady and then eventually the woman who became his second wife, also married at the time. Then after he got divorced from his first wife he allowed everyone to believe that it was obviously her that caused the end of the marriage.
He had major panic/anxiety issues and wouldn't get treatment for it.
I love him for giving us the Peanuts, but I think I can safely say, I wouldn't want to try and be friends with him.
Definitely need something lighter for my next book.
