Cyst Update Part 2...

Well, I did get a response back from my message to the PA that did the procedure on my cyst.
It of course didn't come from her, but from a nurse that works for the doctor that sent me to the procedure.
Really???
Unless it was his PA that did the procedure???
Anyway, imho, the response was less then satisfying.
She said she was sorry for not reaching me by phone to discuss my symptoms.
Well, oh darn...
If the PA responded, she would have known that I work nights and sleep during the day.
She told me what I described was too be expected because it's quite hard to get all the stuff out during a procedure like that.
Really? DUH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
She then went on to describe all the symptoms I should watch for and if they occur to contact them to be seen. She just described symptoms of worsening infection. Again, Well Duh... I'm not an idiot. I have been doing my job for 40 years. I think I know what to watch for for worsening infections.
She of course did not address the issue that the cysts is obviously not gone and will grow back/continue tot grow. ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
With last night's dressing change I got less gunk out of it, but it's still producing gunk. :o And it still feels larger then it was preinfection.
So obviously the cyst is still with me. :( :( :(

So over all, imho, a worthless response. Thanks for nothing...
