A Day In The Life.......

The polls have opened here in Minnesota and the nervous wait begins.
Dad and I will probably go vote some time between 9 and 10 am.

Some of his predictions I find hard to believe, and some of the states that are listed as toss ups are also hard to believe.




Okay, I better go get Maggie out for the morning.....

PLEASE wish the States a lot of luck today...

A Day In The Life.......

Update No. 1...

Just got home from voting and running a couple of errands.

We drove up to the civic center and parked on the North side of the building only to be told you could only enter through the South side. So walked dad around the block.
Got to the South side of the building and there was Good News and there was Bad News...
Bad News first... There was a line to stand in after walking around the block. Dad was a trouper though.
Good News... There was a line at 10 am which means people were getting out and voting.
Sadly, here in Stewartville, that means a whole bunch of votes for Fearful Leader. UGH...
Finally got up to the check in tables and the lady couldn't find me. SERIOUSLY???
I have been voting for the last 40 years.
"Well, some times people get dropped from the list."
My response? Dropped off or taken off?
She eventually called somebody over to try and help find me, and asked for my ID.
After realizing my name was NOT John, but Jon, she found me. UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Got my voting done. Skipped over all the unchallenged seats. Why vote for somebody just because their name is on the list. Waited for dad to get done, and then walked all the way back around the block to my vehicle.
Dad was breathing pretty hard by that point.
Ran a couple of errands and are now home.

I was planning to roast a turkey tonight, but at this point by the time I get to bed, and fall asleep, I Would have to be back up in about 3 hours, so I think the turkey is going to have to wait until tomorrow.

I was almost going to say, Pleast God, let Joe Biden win, but I am pretty sure God could really care less who our president is.
Well, that's a Democrat's view point. Repubs are pretty sure that God has anointed Fearful Leader. :p
