T.M.I. Maybe? lol...

Well, I don't think I have a cyst on my coccyx.
I think it is/was a boil.
When I came home Tuesday morning the area felt painful but soft. When I got up Tuesday night to get in the shower, I felt of the are, it was still painful, but soft and felt a little wet. So I padded it with a kleenex and there was drainage on it. So I did that for a few more times, took my shower, and then put a dressing over the area.
Now, the area is still tendor to the touch, but not painfully sore. It is also much smaller in size.
I had made an appointment to see a doctor this morning, I think I will keep it just to have somebody look at it. Or maybe I should cancel that one and see if I can see somebody at Family Medicine. I shouldn't have to pay to see that person.

Went and saw the Dermatologist, well most of the time I saw her PA.

Yep, it's another cyst. ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am starting 10 days of antibiotics and then on September 1st, I am scheduled to have the cyst cut out.
Let's hope it's not too complicated. I am scheduled to go see a Minnesota Gophers football game Sept. 3. :o
