Miracle of Miracles.....
Dec. 7th, 2012 12:02 amThis past morning I put my name down on the EA(excused absence) list this past morning because I figured I would probably be floated off my station because we are too quiet.
Now I didn't really expect to get an EA because it has been nearly a full 2 years since I was offered one.
SURPRISE no phone call came tonight telling me I could stay home if I wanted to.
So off to work I went.
I walked onto the station and the secretary says, I thought you got an EA. I was like, Nobody called me.
So I went over to the assignment sheet and the charge nurse and sure enough it said I was given an EA. So I called down to the staffing office and they said yes I was given one and somebody on my station should have called me at home to tell me that.
So I turned around and came back home. Still can't believe it. :o
