Just finished up #18.

I was reading 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea by Jules Verne.
A classic that I would like to say I loved, but I can't.
This is a case where I actually liked the movie, Disney's version from 1954, much better then the book.
The book is very dry, not meant to be funny, in my opinion. Mr. Verne spend paragraph after paragraph describing sea life that was seen on the voyage. Must of the time he would use their, for me, scientific names. Which for me means I have no clue about most of the stuff he was talking about. And for the most part didn't really care. Maybe if you are really into ocean studies it would be different.
The actual adventures, when they had them were good/interesting.
They traveled through all the oceans of the world, but there was just too much desription of aquadic life that bogged it down.
They got stuck under/in the ice under the South Pole.
The giant squid in the movie was actually a heard of them, that were fairly easily fought off compared to the movie.
They traveled under the Suez area to reach the Mediterranean Sea.

I have gained everything I had lost up until that point and then some.
