Book Reading......
Jul. 18th, 2012 08:27 pmFINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I finished book No. 17.
I read The Queen Mother by William Shawcross, the official biography of Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother.
All 943 pages of story. That didn't include all the notes at the end.
The book was good. There were parts that were very interesting and there were parts that were knid of boring.
It was interesting to read about her life before becoming Queen and then Queen Mother.
Later in life the book/author got a little list happy. Frequently listing and relisting troops that she headed or organizations that she lead.
Softy that I am, admit that I teared up as I laid there this morning and finished the book and read about her death. :(
In the end, she was an amazing lady. Politically, she was a little to conservative for me, but still an amazing lady for all she did and went through in her life.

1. Schulz and Peanuts by David Michaelis
2. The Avengers: Too Many Targets by John Peel and Dave Rogers
3. The Journey of Crazy Horse by Joseph M. Marshall III
4. Witches Abroad by Terry Pratchett
