Book Reading......

Book No. 13 is in the history books.
I just finished reading Men at Arms by Terry Pratchett. It's the next in the Disc World series.

I was a little disappointed in this book. It felt disjointed to me until about the last 70 pages or so. It wrapped up really well, but I don't know if was reading "too fast", or if it was that disjointed for me. I kind of felt lost off and on. But like I said the last 70 or so pages were really good.
You would think it would happen just the opposite. That a book would lose track of things and it went. lol...

(no subject)

On my way to work last night I nearly became a patient on my own unit at the hospital, the Trauma ICU.

I was driving down the highway(60 mph). I was approaching the interstate 90 overpass and I could see signal lights on the off ramp on the other side of the bridge. I got half way across the bridge when the a@@hole decides he's going to cross over the lane of traffic to get to the South bound lane. I slammed on my breaks and thank God that I stopped in time. Also thankfully I just had my breaks fixed last week.
Now, not only was this a@@hole not driving a little car that I needed to avoid, he was driving a big pickup pulling a big covered trailor.
When I came to a stop he had gotten as far as getting his pickup out onto the Northbound lane that I was driving on. He actually stopped like that was going to make any differance before driving away.
