I just finished another interesting biography.
"Home A Memoir of My Early Years" by Julie Andrews

Julie Andrews has led a very interesting life.
He life would easily fit into more modern times.
Her mom left the family to be with another guy. Her dad decided she needed her mom and sent her to live with her and her new husband and kept her younger brother with him. Her mom and step dad had two boys. Her voice was soon discovered and over time she became the bread winner for the family. Mom and step dad became alcoholics. One drunken night her mom told her the host of a party they were at was really Julie's dad not the man who had riased her. :o
After that she had one successful career move after another.
She starred on Broadway when still a teenager. After that show she was cast as the original Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady on Broadway. After that show she was cast as the original Guenevere in Camelot on Broadway.
She got married had a baby girl and was picked by Walt Disney to play Mary Poppins.
And that is where she left off with this book. I hope she will write another biography.
